What Does Anyone Know About M-61 Stuff From Bluemercury?

My boyfriend and I are both looking for something to take better care of our skin - you know that was part of the attraction between us, that neither of us exactly puts our best face forward all the time. Maybe that’s what makes us such a happy couple. Solving the same problems together.

But, it’s not as if we care all that much or that our conditions are that visible, but sometimes we get a gumption to getting in touch with the latest in skincare treatments. Since we’re going into the new year on a full-blown all-natural kick, we gotta find us some natural cosmeceuticals for the good face washing we seek.

We live in Great Falls, Virginia, and over at the nearby Reston Town Center is a place called Bluemercury which I have subsequently found out sells this line of natural skincare lotions and whatnot called M61. I caught wind of it first when a girlfriend sent me a link to an article on Allure { allure.com/gallery/at-home-brightening-peel-pads-for-acne-scars} about skincare treatments and the one that caught my eye for being natural (and really nice packaging) was this M61 Power Glow Peel.

Plus, I found out that the makers of the M61 products are from Bethesda like I am (proud Walter Johnson Wildcat). This Washingtonian article says that Barry Beck and Marla first co-founded the company Bluemercury (like the NY Times pointed out in this article at nytimes.com/2014/05/01/fashion/beauty-emporiums-including-sephora-and-ulta-are-riding-a-wave-of-popularity.html, then created M61 for Bluemercury to sell, and now on CNBC at cnbc.com/2017/10/12/becks-turn-bluemercury-into-230-million-retail-empire.html they’re calling it a “retail empire”. Genius!

So, now Micah and I are strongly thinking about strolling over among those tall buildings down there, dropping into the store, and sampling some of this M61 stuff. We just want to know what anyone else happens to know about it. Not that we’re not so totally going to anyway.
